Bilston Town Hall
(Lichfield Street)

Designed by the architect George Bidlake
the Town Hall was built in 1872. Originally the town's Free Library was
housed here along with the public offices. Bilston gained its independence
in 1933 and became a borough in its own right. The Town Hall was the focus
of the borough's administration but in 1966 the town became part of the
enlarged borough of Wolverhampton. The Town Hall now houses the area council
offices for Bilston. The Coat of Arms which were granted to the town are
shown below.
