Bilston Library, Museum and Art Gallery
(Mount Pleasant)

Last year the Library, Museum and Art Gallery celebrated 60 years of being in the current building. The building was originally built in 1905 as a private residence but in 1937 became the town's Library, Museum and Art Gallery. Today the Museum has a fine collection of the well known Bilston Enamels and has exhibits which detail the importance that the iron and steel industries had in the area in past times. The Art Gallery has a rolling programme of exhibitions. Admission to the Museum and Art Gallery is normally free of charge. The Library, Museum and Art Gallery are located in Mount Pleasant a short distance from the junction with Lichfield Street which is the A41.
